Code of Conduct

The symbol is sharp. The movement is disciplined.

The name “Guillotine Party” will draw attention, criticism, and bad-faith attacks. That is exactly why this movement must be disciplined from the beginning. The guillotine is symbolic and nonviolent — the blade is aimed at corruption, never at human beings.

Our core commitment

An accountability movement — not a revenge movement

The Guillotine Party is not a call for violence. It is a call to restore democratic power to the people. We represent severance from corruption — cutting away billionaire capture, corporate ownership of policy, authoritarian abuse, and donor control — through lawful, democratic, nonviolent action.

Every member, candidate, volunteer, and supporter is expected to uphold this standard at all times. No exception is made for rank, frustration, or provocation.

Zero tolerance

What we categorically reject

The following are absolutely prohibited within the movement, in any setting — in person, online, on or off the record:

  • Violence of any kind
  • Threats against any person or group
  • Hate movements, bigotry, and discrimination
  • Intimidation and harassment
  • Revenge politics and revenge fantasies
  • Authoritarianism and fascism in all forms

Language or imagery that promotes harm, glorifies violence, or targets people rather than corruption has no place in this movement and will not be tolerated.

How we conduct ourselves

The standard we hold

Members and volunteers represent the movement in everything they do. We ask everyone to be:

  • Professional, honest, and respectful
  • Disciplined, punctual, and prepared
  • Calm under pressure, even when provoked
  • Truthful — never spreading misinformation
  • Respectful in disagreement, never abusive or inflammatory
  • Focused on corruption and accountability, not personal attacks

When you are unsure how to respond in a difficult situation, pause and ask a team leader for guidance. When in doubt, choose the most respectful and responsible approach.

The mission is clear

The blade is aimed at corruption — not people.

Accountability

Standards apply to everyone — including leadership

Accountability is the foundation of this movement, and it begins with us. No leader, candidate, or officer is above these standards. Violations are taken seriously and handled through fair, consistent internal review.

Depending on severity, a violation may lead to internal review, corrective action, removal from a role, or referral to the appropriate authorities. Anyone who becomes aware of a possible violation should report it through the proper channel, and reports will be handled promptly and with due process.

A movement that demands accountability from others must hold itself to the highest standard first.

Discipline is how we win.

If you share these standards, there's a place for you. Join a movement built on accountability, restraint, and respect for every person.
